Site visit-Poured Bent 2 Cap

 12:25 contractor was finishing up form work on Bent 2 Cap

 Contractor was also working on coffer dam on Bent 3

 2:04 concrete was onsite, we tested the concrete: Slump 41/2" Air 3.5% / 7% after adding air Temp 79°. Pour went good, made 3 cylinders

Site visit Pour bent 2 Wall

1:34pm- Prepping forms for bent 2 pour.

2:36pm-Marking measurements for concrete at bent 2

3:22pm- Vibrating concrete for compaction 

3:43pm- Final Pour for the day at bent 2 

 

Site visit pour bent 1 cap

Contractor was ready to pour bent 1 cap, we tested the concrete: Slump 3", Air 4.9%, Temp 80°. Pour went good.

Site visit-Pile driving Bents 1 & 2

Onsite today to drive pilling for Bents 1 & 2, Contractor was in place and ready to start on bent 2 when I arrived.

10:00 finished driving Bent 2 pilling. Moved to Bent 1

Started driving pilling for Bent 1 at 10:15.

Finished at 11:30, Did a labor interview and headed back to office. Going to try to pour Bent 2 wall on Monday.

Site visit-Pre-bore bent 2

Arrow Drilling was onsite to Pre-bore holes for bent 2, work pad that contractor had built was too soft. contractor put down tree logs for drill rig to set on.

Driller was setup and started Drilling at 9:30, drill started hitting rock at the start and continued.

Coffer dam was built really close to bore locations as shown in this picture
