Collins was onsite to put up guardrail post today

 will let me know when they are planning on installing the guardrail

Site visit-Check Compaction

 8:20 Contractor had dump truck onsite, we started checking compaction. There was some soft spots, I had them dig them out and try again.

 Contractor had most of the rip rap in, a couple areas still needing rip rap.

Site visit-Poured Bent 3 & 4 Caps

 Contractor was ready to pour Caps for both Bents 3 and 4

 
 
 

 Concrete arrived at 8:05, I tested concrete: Slump 4 1/2", Air 5.5%, Temp 80°, I made four cylinders.

 Finished pour at 9:20, pour went good.

Site visit, Poured Bent 3 Wall

 Contractor was ready to pour Bent 3 Wall

 Concrete arrived at 8:57, I tested concrete: Slump 2 1/2", Air 5%, Temp 79°

 Finished pouring and headed back at 11:10

Site visit-Bent 4 Cap pour

2:36pm- Bent 4 cap and wall built and rebar basket is set in place ready for concrete pour

3:09pm- Pouring concrete at bent 4 

Site visit-Pre-bore Bent 3

 Arrow drilling was in place when i arrived at noon

 Contractor had to rebuild the approach and cut off coffer dam so the drill rig could reach hole locations.

 Drillers hit good rock in holes
